Modul 4 (A2.2)

Our modules are based on the official BAMF framework curriculum (A1 to B1). This means you learn with the same topics and objectives as in traditional classroom courses – but in an innovative video format that is more flexible, more affordable, and without long waiting times.

The videos are created by BAMF-certified teachers, and you use an officially approved coursebook.

The key difference: V-IZ is not a BAMF course provider. We developed this concept because, in our language school in Heilbronn, we saw that many people cannot attend a traditional integration course – for example due to shift work, childcare, lack of BAMF approval, or simply because they want more flexibility in their schedule.

Our idea was therefore to replicate the integration course content and offer it in video format. This way, you can organize your learning time freely and participate from anywhere.

Please note: Official exams (e.g. telc B1, Goethe B1 certificate, “Living in Germany” test) are taken at accredited exam centers such as VHS, telc, or Goethe.

One module includes 100 lessons (approx. 20 learning videos) – this equals around 80 hours of video content. In addition, you should plan for about 20 hours of exercises and homework, so each module takes roughly 100 hours in total.

You set the pace yourself:

• Some participants complete a module in 1–2 months if they study intensively.

• Most take on average 3–4 months, as they integrate learning flexibly into their daily lives (e.g. alongside work, family, or shift schedules).

• Of course, you can also take more time – the program is completely designed for your own learning speed.

Since our modules are offered on a subscription model, you benefit from monthly payments and the flexibility of progressing without being tied to fixed course schedules.

Since V-IZ is not a BAMF-approved provider, you are not bound to the German Test for Immigrants (DTZ). Instead, you can freely take your B1 exam at any accredited exam center – wherever it suits you best.

Options include:

• telc exam centers (often with many dates and short waiting times)

• Goethe-Institutes or partner schools

• Adult education centers (VHS)

• Other officially accredited certification providers

Of course, you can also take the DTZ exam – but in most cases, this requires prior attendance in a BAMF course, and waiting times are often 1–2 months. For this reason, many participants choose telc or Goethe, as these exams are recognized nationwide and usually offer more locations.

In addition, we offer a preparation course for the “Living in Germany” test (LiD). This exam can also be taken at a VHS or another accredited exam provider.

This means the course is structured and designed just like an official classroom course.The difference: V-IZ itself does not conduct exams. At the end, you register for your exam (e.g. telc, Goethe, or VHS) at an accredited exam center. There, you receive a state-recognized certificate that officially proves your language level.

Whether you prepare with V-IZ, at a classroom school, or by another method does not matter – what counts is the certificate from the accredited exam provider.
